Event Description
On August 29, 2020, HIS House will be hosting a Camp Out Under the Stars to raise funds and awareness for at-risk and homeless college students in Orange County.
During the Camp Out Under the Stars, individuals and families will sleep outside in their backyards or make forts in their living rooms. This will draw attention to housing issues, advocate for homeless transitional age youth, and educate participants. The event will include a variety of activities including entertainment, informational sessions, college student testimonies, speakers and social media live events.
We are requesting that individuals, families, or groups come together to start peer-to-peer fundraising teams. Each team can set their own goal but our overall goal is $50,000 which will directly benefit 24 at-risk college students in Orange County.
