Honoring First Responders!
Mass & Blessing, Saturday, May 25 at 8 am
St Martin De Porres Catholic Church, Yorba Linda
Reception to follow in the Gathering Plaza
A Blue Mass is celebrated annually in the Catholic Church for those employed in the “public safety eld” (i.e. police o cers, re ghters, correctional o cers, 911 operators, Probation, EMS personnel, YL Water Board). The color blue relates to the blue-colored uniforms predominantly used by these services.
The service honors those who have died in the line of duty and those currently serving as rst responders. The Mass is an opportunity for the community to show gratitude to rst responders and their families.
