About this Event
Ozobots are amazing little robots that we will use to learn the basics of beginning line coding. Students will use markers and paper to create a simple path for an Ozobot to follow. Coding is the process of creating a program for an avatar or a robot to run. Ozobots will follow specific colored lines, and if the user adds certain color codes, the Ozobot can follow the instructions and know which way to turn at a line intersection, whether to speed up or slow down, when to pause before proceeding when to proceed in a zig-zag, when to stop and spin, and more!
This class is for children from 5-11 years of age. A parent or legal guardian must accompany the minor (and be present in the Staples store) throughout the duration of the event.

*NOTE: New attendees are welome. We meet you at your level and grow together! For this workshop we aim to create tracks for our Ozobots to race, do tricks, and/or play a game.
